Foot Rub for Immune System Support

To support a healthy immune system, I make a roll-on blend of Thieves and Oregano essential oils and apply it to the bottoms of our feet. Sometimes I will add Copaiba as well because it boosts other oils. Thieves and Oregano are considered ‘hot’ oils, so I dilute them with a carrier oil in a roll-on bottle. We roll this blend on our feet at night, but while traveling (a couple days before, during, and a couple days after), or when others in our household are sick, we’ll apply morning and night.

Why roll it on the bottom of your feet? You have over 2,000 pores on each foot, and they have some of the largest pores on your body. Essential oils absorb rapidly into the skin, and the vita-flex points on your feet are connected to all your body systems and organs! Vita-flex means “vitality through the reflexes” which is based on a network of reflex points that stimulate the nervous system and pathways to all internal body systems. You may want to Google “Vita-Flex Technique” to learn more, it’s pretty amazing.

Thieves is an essential oil blend that was inspired by the legend of four 15th-century French thieves who formulated a special aromatic combination of clove, rosemary, and other botanicals they used while robbing the dead and dying.

• 10 drops Thieves
• 10 drops Oregano
• 5 drops Copaiba
• 25 drops Olive Oil

I use and only recommend this brand of essential oils!

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a roll-on bottle, that’s it, too easy! To apply, roll it onto the bottoms of your feet, and then rub your feet together.
